Replaced the clutch myself (I'm not going to pay $800 to replace a $160 clutch on a $1200 car, the labor was worth it!). That was at 201,000 miles and that beast was the original clutch I replaced!
Replaced the thermostat and one warped rotor. All no more than $40.
A leak on the top of the passenger door from a bit of rust causes water to leak on the rear passenger floor. Soon to fix that problem.
Other than that, she has been running great!
When I bought this car for $1200, I found the original owner was apparently the son of the vice-president of Michelin until they moved, then went onto the owner I bought it from who had it from 10th grade till the end of college without one problem except the timing chain being replaced. Since I have had this car, it has been a joy to drive. Being a teenager myself, I am surprised it has held up to the heavy foot all teenagers seem to have :). I highly recommend this vehicle. My next car will be a Honda without a doubt. Keep up the good work guys!
I got my car last year with nearly 145,000 miles in it. since I have it, I've replaced oil and filters myself, I don't want anybody else working in my car except me, Anyway, this car is awesome, I bought it for 1,200 bucks I haven't made modifications to my car except with genuine Honda parts, because I've found that when you make modifications to the engine, the life of it is shorted. my car has an manual transmission I've raced Acura, Toyota, and even Corvette, I lost that time, but it has a great performance and a good stability at high speed rate, it reaches nearly 60mph in less than 7 sec I recommend it I know it's almost 20 years of age, but if you keep it in a very good shape it's going to last a long time. now it's almost nearly 180,000miles because I've traveled all over the country with it and still is in a good shape. I admire Honda Engineering staff.
