"A rice burner that handles like it is burning risotto, not rice"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

My radiator sprang a leak, easy fix with some cold weld adhesive.

I'm on my 3rd muffler. They keep rusting out.

Constant velocity joints, but it's front wheel drive so that is to be expected.

General comments?

This car has been the best car I have even had.

I'm over 175,000 miles and still on the original clutch.

If looking get a stick, you can't go wrong, it will get up and go when needed.

There are not many cars that can save you money with insurance and still have a little bit of sport to keep it exciting, not to mention great gas mileage.

As a used car you can't go wrong with a Honda product they just won't die.

My car was totaled 12/04 and I had to get out of the rental and into another car fast. I found a 91 Honda civic dx on the internet and bought it from a repair shop/dealer.

The interior and exterior are good for the year and miles 121,+++. I had a 93 240sx so I went from flash to basic car, but I am happy with my new red civic.

I feel really bad for many Civic owners. I've driven some Civics and have found nothing wrong with them at all. Honda makes some great quality engines, and I've never seen them broken down on the road.

If you are going to soup up a Civic, then do it right! Damn-it! A good acquaintance of mine had a 1991 Honda Civic with a b16 engine in it and nothing at all to the body. It was a frigging bullet! She raced that thing and smoked = many cars. She even took out a 5L Mustang and other Civics that tried to race her. Civics are incredible used cars and I might consider one because of their dependability. My point is seeing these big fart cannons on them give them a lousy reputation. Same thing applies with a Crappalier... oh, sorry Cavalier.

Whom ever posted that a Civic would beat a 5.0L Mustang must be on glue because I have a 95' 5.0L with minor work done to it (intake/exhaust) and I don't care what motor you got in it its not going to beat a 5.0L. Its not even a challenge I have civics with fart tubes (trying to sound like a V8) racing me all the time maybe 1 out of 100 civics that have tried have even come close and that one was running Nitro as well as 6 or 7 grand worth of motor work done to it that was *THE ONLY TIME I HAD TO PUT MY FOOT INTO IT*. A message to all who drive a 4 cylinder. You might be quick, but you are not fast so stop trying to race V8's race your buddies Civic.

4 cylinder cars are made for economy not for power or speed. It's not like I hate 4 cylinders I think some are nice and do look sharp when done up, but as the saying goes there is not replacement like displacement!!!

Well first off a stock 5.0 factory is only pushing about 225 hp... not to mention the normal ones were stopped making them in like 93 and 94 to 95 5.0 were cobras. I have a 95 civic si... minor work done a mini me d 16 swap and an automatic to manual swap with the si tranny I got a new cam rocker arms, forged pistons and 50 hp shot from nx... I dynod at 174 hp with the Nitrous... dc headers greddy exhaust and injen 2 short ram... that's it... my buddys 91 5.0 has got flowmaster exhaust and k&N intake...Automatic... well I practiced a while at the light on our local track... when we race I smoke him... I'm a bullet off the light and the whole time he spends playing cacatch up now top speed he got me, but not close in a quarter mile... my cars HP to Wieght ratio is so much better than the mustang that weighs 3x as much as me... so we tried it without the bottle and I got him off the line again... it wasnt as far as a gap, but I still have him in a quarter mile... yes wierd.. I'm not a ricer I also have a fast firird, but my civic is just so light... you guys with the 5.0s arnt pushin as much as ur dreamin... so a good driver in a civic facing a stock 5.0 can easily take him... remeber how heavy ur old mustang is... and there is an srt-4 2.4 liter I'm in the army so we get bonuses my buddy used a lot of his 40K and put it in his srt-4... his dyno is pushin about 622,,,, so ur 5.0 can beat that I think not... he beats vets by 5 to 6 car lengths don't underestimate 4 bangers.

A 95 5.0 is a P.O.S...0 handling, can you say solid rear axle, can't stop to save your life, and such a big gas guzzler for such little horsepower, what a waste. There is a replacement for displacement and that's horsepower to weight ratio. Try my 91 SI with a USDM B18C1 and LSD trans. This car is not a world beater, but it's been built to put out 190hp to the front wheels, the car weighs 2300lbs, and all you will see is a small red car getting even smaller.
