1991 Honda CRX Si review from North America
"Oh my God"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace an axle thanks to some faulty suspension work that was done before I got it. Other than that, I've had no problems.
General comments?
I got this car for $2000 and I must admit, it was a steal.
It's a 91 Honda CRX Si, which means that it's got the 108hp 1.6L SOHC engine. I must say, it's a quick little beast.
The 5-speed manual transmission shifts smooth for relaxed cruising, but it grabs hard when you wanna go. It'll bark the tires good when you hit second.
The interior in this car gives it a nice sporty feel. The gauges are laid out nicely, and everything is straight to the point. No nonsense. Both seats are comfortable, and the lack of a back seat doesn't bother me at all.
This vehicle handles like a dream! The low, wide stance, and short wheel base make driving this car incredibly fun.
The car also looks fantastic. Its sleek profile makes it an incredibly fast-looking vehicle, and the rear just screams "sport."
All in all, this is a great car and I'll probably never get rid of it.
