2000 Hyundai Accent GLS review from North America
"Do not buy this car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I had to replace several sensors that ran between 300-600 dollars. Even tough the car was still under warranty it was not covered.
The engine blew up at 89K km because the timing belt broke. According to the dealer this belt should be replaced at 95K km.
General comments?
This car never ran without problems. In fact I started to have problems with it after having the car for only a week. The ride is terrible and the seats are uncomfortable, the interior is ugly and cheap looking, the car is unreliable, the road noise when you are on the highway is unbearable, etc. I wouldn't recommend this car to anyone, but my worst enemy.
