If there is any complaint it deals with the original tires, they seem to have worn faster than is reasonable, but that's not a big deal and I will rectify that with tires that are more suitable.
The car has performed admirably, with no complaints about either service or reliability of the vehicle.
It handles extremely well on icy, snow covered roads with no fish tailing or sense of losing control.
I was in a car accident, rammed in the passenger side and the integrity of the Lexus prevented any injuries to myself. The other car, a Chevy, was crunched like an accordion and they suffered soft tissue damage. A real compliment to Lexus and the type of vehicle they manufacture.
The dealership truly treats the Lexus customer like one would like to be treated, my only complaint is I like this car so much I will not be in a rush to buy another newer Lexus model.
Hi, What kind of tires do you have? I have a 2001 RX300 AWD. It skids on icy and snow covered road ALL the time.
I Just bought a 2003 RX300 for my wife and she and I both love it. I my self have a 4x4 truck and when you are dealing with ice and snow you will slide and there is no getting around that at all. Just be patient and drive safely.
The stock bridgestones dueler h/t's are junk. absolutely useless in cold winter conditions. michelin x-sports are better, but a little noisy and a bit mushy. the bridgestone alenza h/l are the best.
