2000 Nissan Maxima GLE review from North America
"I'm very disappointed in Nissan"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have had problems with the engine coils since the car hit 55,000 miles. While it was under warranty, the dealer said it was a 'programming glitch'. However, the problem has continued for years.
Higher octane gas helped briefly, but the problem keeps coming back. I have had a couple of coils replaced, but now need to get the rest of them done.
It is unacceptable that Nissan has not taken responsibility for this.
General comments?
Besides the on going problem with the engine coils, this has been a great car.
