My air conditioner evaporator broke at 65000 miles.

I bought the car from a rental company. It had 28000 miles in the first year. It's a 1997, and I got it in 1998.

The front seat is not that comfortable. Other than that, in spite of the mechanic's opinions about my car, it looks and runs like new. Has 98000 miles now.

I've always thought that the car was a crappy one. I was keeping saying to myself "as soon as it breaks, I'm gonna get a new car". I've been saying this for five years.

I'll keep it. I like the fuel efficiency and it's very roomy also, and looks much better that other 1997 cars.

Head gasket blew at 98,000 miles.

This has been one of the best cars I have ever owned.

It still looks stylish, handles great, has terrific pickup, and the interior and exterior have held up extremely well.

Other than the head gasket problem, it has been a fantastic car.

Head gaskets need to be replaced.

Power steering pulley went out.

Air conditioner no longer works.

Transmission whines from 3rd to 4th gear.

There is a knocking from the engine when I take off.

Slow take off, not enough power.

Alignment is always off.

With all the problems the car has it has never left me stranded anywhere. It gets great gas mileage. You can drive forever on the interstate with a full tank of gas. The trunk is huge, and the inside is spacious. It has been in an accident, but is still going strong. I hope the car will last another 100000 miles. But I have to say I will never buy another Chrysler product again.

Two weeks after I bought the Breeze, Third Gear went out, and I had to pay to have the transmission rebuilt. This is more of an issue with the shady dealership, but at 83000 miles, I would think a tranmission would last longer.

There is this knocking noise coming out of the front end whenever I step on the accelerator. After bringing it to three different mechanics and a Chrysler dealer, they said they could find nothing wrong with the front end and that I shouldn't worry about it. It is impossible to get the alignment corrected, I am replacing at least 2 tires every 2 months. The brakes have been replaced twice, in 7 months. I do not know why this car chews up brake pads. The check engine light keeps going on and off, and no one can seem to figure out why. I've been told the gas cap, the mass air flow sensor, and something in the emissions system. Yet all check out fine. Overall, the engine has given me no problems, I'm very pleased with the engine, though it feels like it's going to shatter like glass when I turn the air conditioning on around town. On the highway, the air conditioning is all right, as long as you are level or downhill, any climbing, even when the freeway inclines to go over a city street, it has to downshift to maintain 70mph. Otherwise, the engine is fully capable.

I'm very torn about this car. I love how roomy, and comfortable it is, I like even with my 45 miles a day commute, I still get about 320-340 miles to a tank. The gas mileage is spectacular on long trips, I got 385 miles of all interstate driving when I drove to Las Vegas!! But I have to say that I would rather have this car in a stick shift, and I don't think I will buy another Chrysler vehicle again. I'm not saying this is a definite, but the way this car breaks down, I'm not too confident about their products. On the other hand, Plymouth's are no longer built, so I guess they recognized their weakness and discontinued it.
