1995 Pontiac Grand Prix SE review from North America
"Basic transportation"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternators, alternators, alternators.
Heater Blower motors went out recently.
Has a suspected (and long term) intake manifold leak.
Driver's power seat frame broke around 100,000 miles. Seat was permanently mounted to frame rendering PS useless.
Heater core started leaking at 150,000 miles.
Car has surges in overdrive. Either a vacuum leak or transmission solenoid problem.
General comments?
We bought this as a replacement to a prior 1995 GP SE that was totaled in an accident.
Too bad we had not had the other car longer as it had been far better mechanically as well as better fit and finish.
