2003 Saturn VUE review from North America
"I have owned over 12 cars and this is easily the worse"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Replaced both rear wheel bearings.
Replaced both front suspension links.
Replaced Ignition Switch.
Replaced four sets of Front Brake Pads & Rotors.
Replaced rear wiper motor.
Parking/marker lights stopped working. Bad Ground.
Going up a relatively steep road, CVT transmission would often just stop. Would have to back down hill and make another try.
Sometimes when you pulled out into an intersection the car would stop momentarily and then go. Dangerous to drive in busy traffic.
General comments?
I bought the Vue based partly on the Check rating it received by Consumer's Report in 2003. In 2004 Consumer's Report had re-rated it to one of the worse cars to buy.
I lost significant money when I had to trade it in because of it's unreliability.
