2001 Volkswagen Golf Generation GL review from Australia and New Zealand
"A great prestige car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well basically the car has had a few problems.
These are minor.
The front passenger Front electric window just dropped down very fast and did not come back up.
The car just stalled at traffic lights and would not restart for about 10 minutes, dealer could not detect this problem.
The car blew a couple of fuses and had to get towed away!
General comments?
Other than the problems listed above it is a great car. This is my first car and its great!
The golf is very stylish in black with beige interior! and it looks very prestiges.
It is very zippy for a 1.6L and it handles well.
As a P Plater I find the car perfect for me.
It has the BEST standard sound system I have ever heard! better than my friends who have several subs in their cars.
I test drove Astra's, focus,307 and found the Golf to be the best!
