2003 Renault Megane Dynamique review from UK and Ireland
"Good Looking, good driving car that is let down by its electrical problems"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A rear electric window has failed.
Squeaky brakes.
Front passenger seat panel fell off.
Gear knob has faded from silver to a dingey yellow.
General comments?
This car is quite quick for a 1.4, and it sticks to the road like glue when you go around corners, thanks to the extremely wide tyres.
Mechanical reliability so far has been faultless.
Quality of interior plastics is excellent.
Car feels substantial when you drive it.
The car is extremely comfortable, with loads of kit for the cash and great seats.
Much quicker than a similarly powered Golf/Focus.
Electrics sometimes are a bit scary.
Best looking car in its class by miles and miles.
Lovely ride.
