2001 Chevrolet Cavalier review from North America
"Cheap, moderately reliable car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A lot of the interior plastic is cheap and has cracked.
The car shakes and hesitates whenever I turn to the right.
The check engine, Trac Off, and ABS lights came on around 100000.
The car still runs fine, and to fix these things would cost more than the car is worth.
General comments?
Overall it has been a reliable car. My mom bought it, then gave it to my older brother (who took horrible care of it, he couldn't find the oil dipstick if need be). I got it around 125000 miles, and I have taken good care of it. It still gets me to college and back after 2+ years.
