2000 Nissan Maxima GLE review from North America
"It will break your heart"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I think I can sympathize with most of the owners of 2001 Max.
Current problems:
Idle control valve problem (still happening)
Amplifier is cutting the bass on and off
Seats are ripping.
Steer wheel leather has faded/worn.
Transmission went at (146,000 kms) (2300 dollars to fix)
Brake and rotor problems (still continues to happen)
changed front lower control arms at 130,000 kms.
I have had the car for almost 7 years now, and I think its time to say good bye.
General comments?
It was a great car in the first couple of years, but it appears that once you get pass 120 kms a lot of problems begin to surface.
Don't think I will buy another Nissan again.
