1994 Dodge Intrepid ES review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The engine and transmission needed replacing at 58,000 miles, number 6 piston broke and the connecting rod punched through the side of the engine block.
The Passenger airbag cover is pulling away from the dash.
It goes through front brakes in about 10,000 miles.
The headlights went out the second week I owned the car.
The water pump has been changed three times.
The plastic "no longer in production" interior drivers door panel cracked.
The computer climate control needs replacing.
I replaced the window switches on all four doors.
There are many more issues with the car, really too many to list.
General comments?
This car has been a constant headache. It is the most unreliable piece of junk I have ever owned.
I received almost no assistance from the dealers.
I will never purchase another Chrysler product again in my life, its too bad that now Mercedes-Benz is associated with such a low quality product.
