2001 Hyundai Elantra GT review from North America
"Good economy value."
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Clutch failed at 33,000 miles.
Gas gauge is inaccurate when full.
Had to have rear brakes replaced at 20,000 miles.
General comments?
I am very displeased that the clutch went at 33k miles. I have owned 2 previous manual transmission cars for a total of 150000 miles and never needed to replace a clutch. This is a non warranty item and costs over $1000 to fix at dealers.
