2000 Chevrolet Cavalier Coupe review from North America
"Cavalier: A frugal persons heaven"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The rotors have been turned twice since I bought it. The dealership said they were warped.
There is a 'bearing like' sound coming from the right rear that only myself and my husband can hear (he's deaf in one ear).
General comments?
I am over 6 feet tall and over 300 pounds. This is the only car I could find which my body could comfortably fit.
The only bad thing I can say about it that I don't like is that the trunk has too small of an opening.
My cavalier is the most basic trim line you can get. It came with Air Conditioning, Anti-lock brakes, Goodyear tires, rear spoiler, Compact Disc player, and automatic transmission.
I get 34 miles per gallon if I limit my speed to less than 60miles per hour. I get 28 - 30 if I hit the freeways. In the city, I get an average of 31.6 in the summer with the air conditioning going.
