2000 Daewoo Matiz SE review from UK and Ireland
"Nice car if you have a good dealer in your area... otherwise forget it"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Had a small door dent which they were unable to repair without major damage to the rest of the car.
Unable to match the green paint on a 1000 mile car.
No dealer service at all.
Headlights misted up and took 6 weeks to replace (now misting up again).
They appear unable to service the Matiz.
They can't or won't supply parts under warranty.
General comments?
For a small door dent we did not expect a whole door would be needed, nor that it and the surrounding bodywork would be blue on a green car.
We did not expect the repair to consist of them spraying the whole side blue or damaging the windows, carpets, seat, seals and body moldings.
To cap things off they then proved unable to carry out the first service without causing further damage.
We have now waited a month for the parts so they can fix the results of a service.
