2007 Ford Focus SES 2.0 from North America

Summary:

It is a terrific little car and I plan to drive the wheels off it!

Faults:

To date I have had no problems at all.

General Comments:

I love this car. As long as you can appreciate the fact that it is a small, economical car, and not compare it to a heavier touring car, you should be quite pleased. I drive regularly in mountains and it handles like a sports car. Interior size is limited -front seat fine - not much leg room for those in back. I wouldn't care to ride in back for much distance. My gas mileage continues to improve. I'm getting 32 miles on flat highways and 26 around town. A work car, I bought it for improved gas mileage, but have been surprised to find out what a fun car it is to drive. The trim package on the SES improves its appearance greatly over the SE, giving it a more substantial look.

2007 Ford Focus Ghia Hatchback 1.6 TDCI from Turkey

Summary:

Marvelous, enjoyable, trustworthy

Faults:

Nothing so far. However, I was surprised that the passenger interior door lid do not centrally lock the doors. Service says it is standard this way for 2008 models. I personally checked for 6 cars to-be-sold, and they were all the same..

General Comments:

This is my second Ford Focus. I previously owned MK 1 model, and this one is so improved and so satisfying at all. I truly could be able to find the spirit of the first model. Great handling, pleasing comfort and generous equipment make this an awesome car. I am sure I made the best choice.

2007 Ford Focus SE 2.0 from North America

Summary:

Awesome

General Comments:

This is my first "small car" purchase and I am extremely satisfied with my Ford Focus SE 4 door sedan. I am a pretty big person and I have no trouble getting in and out of this vehicle. My gas mileage has been between 24 & 30 MPG. I do not nurse my vehicles and don't like to waste time. This vehicle is used mostly for work (3 miles each way) and shopping. It is used for some of my grandson's sporting events that require some distance in traveling. Vehicle is comfortable with several desired options including cruise, side airbags, and remote trunk release. I shopped several vehicles and for the price and features I think it's the best deal. I don't regret my purchase at all.

2007 Ford Focus SE 2.0 from North America

Summary:

I am very happy

Faults:

Nothing yet.

General Comments:

It came down to this focus or a Honda civic, the civic is a nice car, but they wanted 15,700 for a strip model out the door with no radio.

I got a focus SE with ac, auto, windows, anti-lock brakes, side airbags, door locks and stereo for 14,500 out the door. Not to mention that we liked the focus a lot when we drove it.

Ride is a little firm, but it is a smaller car. Good acceleration and the mileage has averaged over 30 in mixed driving.

2007 Ford Focus ST-3 2.5 turbo from UK and Ireland

Summary:

High performing, extremely versatile and a genuine performance bargain

Faults:

- Nothing serious so far.

- Seat has developed mild movement (Very slight).

- Creaking door seals (on a hot day the car creaks from window seals).

General Comments:

Very quick car with a lot of torque low down in the rev range, which enables a very lazy driving style, and makes it feel like a GT car.

Very practical, with plenty of room in boot, and it even comes with 5 doors if you need them.

Responsive handling for a FWD car in any condition.

An all round versatile car, which is excellent at eating large mileage, attacking the road, & nipping around town. You can really tell a lot of research has gone into developing this car.

I completely agree. The car is superb, but creaks from the window seals, and the boot latch clunks when going over bumps! And the fuel economy is dreadful - but I wouldn't swap it for the world.

I owned an orange Focus ST3 for 14 months and have recently purchased a Focus ST500. The are a well made, good quality fast hatch with a superb 5 cylinder engine for effortless journeys on Motorways or equally happy pottering round town. No car makes you smile more and the engine noise is such that you turn the stereo off to listen to it. Good cabin room with plenty of equipment as standard and no problems to report. Earlier cars had a power steering hose chafing issue which has been subject to a recall. There are some cars with a problem with the seat base frame snapping and this is currently being investigated by Ford. Fuel economy is the only let down.
