2002 Pontiac Grand Am SE1 from North America - Comments

"A true American sports car"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Nothing has gone wrong with the car yet and I don't expect anything to go wrong anytime soon.

General comments?

The car has unbelievable performance for such a small engine.

The cabin is extremely comfortable and roomy.

The best car I have ever owned.

If you think the 2.2L 4 cylinder is awesome in performance, you should drive the 3.4L V6 with Ram Air, you get even more performance, and you get to hear it working hard (RAM AIR)!

I have a Grand AM SE 2002 model and I have had it in the shop 3times in the past year. The power window switch and motor keeps going out. Every thing else has been great so far. It's cheap on gas. Also very roomy.

Ram air only adds 5 Hp to the total you don't need the GT model get the SE1 with the V6 then get a supercharger... Hee hee.

I have a grand am gt with a ram air V6 it drives nice I've only had it in the shop bout 2 or 3 times in the last yr or so the ram air puts out bout 175 hp from what I read, but I don't know if that's true, but I know its up there cause I've raced a lot of cars that were newer an had so some stuff done to it and smoked the car an my cars stocked!!! its real good on gas unless you punch the gas an spin tires like I like to do.
