The Cigarette lighter never worked, replaced it with 4 fuses then gave up.
The Anti-lock brakes light would come on for no reason.
Replaced Brakes.
One Speaker Blew a few days after I purchased the car. (My Fault)
Rust around The Wheels. This was minor and easy to fix.
This was my first car, it was not the car I wanted, but my dad told me it was a reliable car. After a month or two when I got alright at driving standard I loved the car. It was a sporty car that got me from point A to B and was cheap on gas.
I had no major problems with my 1994 Sunbird. It was a great car and I am glad my dad talked me into buying it. It didn’t have a lot of power or accelerate very quickly, but it wasn’t a turtle either. I get a lot of snow where I live and the car was UNREAL in the snow, even better than my moms 2001 Grand Am. I got in a bad accident about 2 months ago, I hit ice and found my self in a head on collusion. I have to say that I take total blame for this accident, there was nothing wrong with my car. One of my friends got into a small fender-bender with her 2001 Sunfire GT and it looks like she was in a worse accident then I was. So you can tell that the Sunbird is a heavy car that is well built.
Over all my sunbird was an awesome car and I have no regrets buying it. I will never be able to find another car like that one… that’s for sure!!!
To fix the cigarette outlet, you have to take off the molding around it and reconnect the wire harness.
