1992 Toyota Celica GT Convertible 2.2 from North America
Fun, reliable convertible
Distributor Broke at 95,000.
Now is using a little oil.
I love this car. It isn't great at any one thing, and it isn't the fastest car in town, but it's reliable, it's fun to drive, it's roomy for a sports car, it has 4 seats (OK for kids or smaller adults in back), the convertible top is easy to operate, it's powerful enough, and I plan to keep it for another 100,000 miles. It makes me smile. I've always driven convertibles and this is the best one I've had. It won't compare to serious sports cars because it's not designed to. Handling is comfortable, not really tight. It's a heavy car so it won't turn or accelerate with a Porsche. If you want a dependable, affordable, fun car this one's for you.
