1994 Dodge Intrepid review from North America
"Well worth buying, good, dependable car"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Was originally my grandmother's car, so will tell about problems I know of from her.
Passenger-side air bag cover panel buckled from the heat. Dealer claimed that this would not hurt performance of air bag, it just doesn't look good (I have covered it with a dash cover).
Paint began peeling after about 5 years (manufacturer's defect that I learned about with my Dynasty). Top and trunk lid were repainted in 2001.
Routine maintenance otherwise. All I've had to do is have the rotors turned.
Front seats not as comfortable as my Dynasty, but okay, and they have no visible wear.
General comments?
This car really gets up and goes. Speed is NOT a problem.
Back seat is very comfortable and roomy. Almost like laying down.
Trunk is huge.
Very reliable and hassle-free.
Drives and handles great.
